If OK, see the diagnosis for Power Window Motors. If not OK, replace the faulty door module. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Remove the rear door power window switch as described. Check the rear door power window switch continuity as described. If OK, go to Step 10. If not OK, replace the faulty switch. First, please run the OBD codes and post them here. To get the window back up, you are going to want the door/motor to be as warm as possible. My motor responds better in hot weather. I hold the window switch up and slam the door shut. May need to repeat several times. If the window starts to come up some, while holding the switch up grab the window and assist it up.
I entered from the passenger side and left the door open. Put the key in ON ‘II’ position. Rolled the window completely down and held the switch for an extra couple of seconds. Rolled it completely up and held the switch for an extra couple of seconds. Voila. Just like that it’s working again.
KEY OFF POWER WINDOW OPERATION. Within approx. 43 sec . after the ignition SW is turned from ON to OFF , the power window can be operated. Posting Permissions. Having some problems with the drivers side window/mirror switch, none of the buttons are working. Passenger window switch operates normally, windows raise and lower normally when opening doors and windows work fine when operating the roof. Passenger mirror no longer dips when selecting reverse.
4. Strike the center of the door if slamming it doesn't work. Using the palm or heel of your hand, give your door a good, hard whack. This is just another way to knock that window back onto the track so the motor can roll it up. Keep the switch pressed up while you do this.
